The cells taken from Henrietta Lack have saved many lives and have progressed contemporary biomedical research substantially. Do you think the doctor that took Henrietta Lacks cells for future research did the right thing? Her cells are still being used after her death. Do you think this is appropriate, now that she is gone and cannot give consent? Do you think Henrietta Lack’s family has any right to the samples? If so, how long should those rights last?

Needs' family never thought about it even as the cells were utilized the world over in explore, or when they themselves were requested blood tests two decades later. The book depicted the outrage of the family's trial even as mammoth partnerships benefitted tremendously from Lacks' cells known as HeLa in restorative speech. Her youngsters, again without their insight, had their therapeutic records examined and even distributed. It was an account of the intricate crossing point of drug, race and benefit that appeared to have an upbeat closure as the book turned into a blockbuster and Lacks' commitment to medicinal science was perceived.

Offended and contending that researchers seemed to have adapted close to nothing. The production of the HeLa genome without assent isn't a case of a couple of scientists committing an error.
