Climate can be defined as a mean state and variabillity of weather conditions ( temperature,precipitation, humidity, wind lines etc) over extended time periods at a particular place. In layman terms, it gives the average weather of a location including the features mentioned.

Climate change, periodic modification of Earth’s climate brought about as a result of changes in the atmosphere as well as interactions between the atmosphere and various other geologic, chemical, biological, and geographic factors within the Earth system. (Britanica)

The atmosphere is a dynamic fluid that constatnly encounters changes due to various instabillities with varying time scales. Vegetation, atmospheric chemistry, heat of oceans etc change over smaller time scales as compared to position and orientation of continents and mountains. Thus, climate which is a direct consequence of atmospheric properties changes at any conceivable time scale.

Answer: Climate change is influenced by the atmosphere and any eart feature that ineracts with it. It may be land (in the long term) and oceans (in short term)
