When a group becomes a team, the long term benefits for the respective stakeholders are as below:

Manager

• Through resolving conflicts among team members, manager builds a good team who understands the team dynamics
• Manager is able to align the team with the overall vision and mission of the organisation,
• Through team building, the relationship between the team members and the managers become more casual, more fluidic and mutually beneficial. There is a higher element trust between the manager and his team members.
• Improved employee engagement among the team members and are able to cooperate with manager’s directive to carry out tasks as a team through collaborating and achieve the company goals.
• Managers are able to move up the ladder and take up large project based on the success in working with the team and accomplishing the goals set by the management.
• Managers are able to realise the revenue for the company on a sustainable basis.

Employee

• Each employee will be more effective and productive when working as team than working alone.
• Employees will be collaborating with other team members to achieve the goal of producing high quality products and services
• Employees are able to grow their problem solving skills on an indiviudal level through skills learned from the job as well as from the team members.
• Employees in the team will be working towards achieving the common goal of the organisation.

• When group starts working as team for over a long period of time, it helps the teams to work in cohesion that improves the productivity, morale and the overall quality of the product or services of the organisation.
• It becomes much better fulfilling place for a long term career and hence less attrition.
• Alignment of companywide vision and goals among the teams
