Any implementation of IoT is going to have risks associated with it. Risks could range from fairly insignificant to very destructive depending on the market, equipment, number of people affected, and numerous other factors. Please discuss the following: what are some of the known vulnerabilities in the healthcare industry? what type of data is being transmitted or stored? what is the security risk with the data being compromised? Is the security risk life-threatening? In what way is safety impacted?

With the growth of IoT devices in our everyday life a lot of data are being collected in the cloud which are being used by the companies to benifit ourselves.

Lets talk about smart watches technology currently in use which uses IoT.A lot of data like the heart rate,bmi,weight,skin temperature,movement and heart rate relation and analysis of these data are done to provide us with an insight about our health and potential future risks which sounds great.But theres a catch if your data gets ompromised or the cloud provider that stores the data gets compromised a lot of people's life will be in risk like they can know when you are intoxicated or sleeping and they can plan and do a theft or even try to kill you.Hence the companies providing the cloud technologies should always use the cutting edge technologies available and protect their customers from any risks.

One other example is some smart fridges collect the data and send it to the cloud, many insurance providers may not give you insurance if they know or if the fridge company releases your bad eating habbits to the insurance companies.

One more example is the police may knock your door and give you a fine for drinking and driving, you ask how do they know?

-->The data from your smart watches and your smart IoT system in your car when combined over cloud and analysed may lead to this conclusion to the police(Anything can happen).

The security risks can even be life threatning , hence the data must be dealt very carefully and with great security by the companies.
