Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer(1):-

The purpose behind EtherChannel negotiation protocols is to providing fault-tolerance and high-speed links between switches, routers and servers. This is the main purpose.

Answer(2):-

PAgP LACP
1.PAgP stand for ort Aggregation Protocol LACP is stand for Link Aggregation Control Protocol
2.Port Aggregation Protocol (PAgP)) does not initiate the negotiation. Link Aggregation Control Protocol LACP initiates the negotiation.
3. Port Aggregation Protocol PAgP packets initiated by other end. But LCAP  tries to form EtherChannel with other end.

Answer(3):-

EtherChannel cab easily access the on mode makes the interface into an EtherChannel without any negotiation protocols like Port Aggregation Protocol or Link Aggregation Control Protocol . During the using a EtherChannel on mode then EtherChannel will be created only when another interface group in EtherChannel on mode.

Answer(4):-

The configuration changes which we apply to the port channel are applied to each member interface of that port channel. Like if we configure Spanning Tree Protocol or STP parameters on the port channel that applies to each interfce in the port channel.

Answer(5):-

In my view DTP is used for the automating the creation of the trunk links in systems during an EtherChannel trunk is configured and DTP is also called as Dynamic Trunking Protocol.

Answer(6):-

There are many configure setting which is used like Destination IP address and VLAN and Source MAC address and Source and Destination MAC address and Destination IP address and VLAN and Source IP address and VLAN and Source and Destination the MAC address so these are the settings that might cause a channel group not to successfully come up.

Answer(7):-

In simple words EtherChannel is a port link collection technology in which multiple physical port links are grouped into one logical link and EtherChannel technology is used to provide the high speed links and redundancy. With the help of this technology only maximum of 8 links can be aggregated to form a single logical link

Answer(8):-

.There are following types of configuration used in EtherChannel like that we always ensure that all the ports are enabled and set all the ports to function at the same speed.

Answer(9):-

By use the spanning-tree etherchannel guard misconfig global configuration command The EtherChannel Guard feature can be enabled easily and to verify whether it is configured or not please use the show spanning-tree summary command.

Answer(10):-

The main advantage of using the EtherChannel is that it increased bandwidth and combine two or four links into one links.EtherChannel is also provides redundancy.

Answer(11):-

As we know that EtherChannel can be easily implemented by grouping multiple physical ports into one or more logical EtherChannel links but the interface types can not be mixed this is the restriction of it.

Answer(12):-

The channel-group command is used to configure the interface in a channel group and set the Link Aggregation Control Protocol mode which can be used in interface configuration mode. and if you want to remove the channel-group configuration from the interface then use the no form of this command.

Answer(13):-

It is neccessary to enable LACP one on one link redundancy with the use of the lacp fast-switchover command in interface configuration mode and if you want to disable LACP link redundancy then use the no form of this command.
