I am the Office Manager at a large physician practice that is in the process of implementing an EHR. EHR is the Electronic Health Record. My task here is outlining the learning tasks for the registration and nursing users.

The system functionality for the Registration users group:

  1. Check the information about their registration based on the unique registration number.
  2. Get the registration form.
  3. Shows option for Save the form and submit.
  4. Get the print out of the registration form.
  5. Search option
  6. Language options selection

The system for the nursing users group:

  1. User name and the password filling or login window.
  2. Register if new
  3. Enter the details.
  4. Fetch the information.
  5. Search from the record or database.

As an Office Manager, I would make sure they are properly trained by the following steps:

  1. Hire a trainer.
  2. Provide the time for the practical training.
  3. Get the feedback from the training team.
  4. Judge the level of Knowledge they gained.
  5. Also provide the software and hardware external knowledge to them.
