Social context looks at relationships between language and society and looks at language as people use it.The social function of language refers to the way we relate language to our relationships with other people. This means it's how we use language and how we communicate in a social setting. It unites us with the people when we exchange our thoughts, ideas and emotions with the world everything starts to feel connected. This connect is something that gets us closer to the people and their way of life. It also binds us together to who we are and how we wish to proceed. There is so much more to life than just cry and lament. We need to look at the bigger picture and this is something that defines us.
