Usually only the large scale organizations have corporate office and corresponding corporate strategies. The corporate level strategy determines the direction and activities of the organization's strategic business unit which is helpful in defining the organization mission and vision also identifying which business to enter or exit and where and how to allocate the fund etc.The business level of strategies applicable for the organization has may business and each business is treated as strategic business unit. It mainly focus on specific service or the product line. Here the manager of the organization translates the corporate direction into individual business lines corporate strategy. The Functional level strategy is related to single functional operation and corresponding activities. It deals with the typical restricted plan providing goals for the particular function, coordinating and allocating the resources between the different operations within that functional area. This strategy level occur at departments , divisions or the project level. These are the strategies which is directed by both corporate and business level strategies. These strategies are for producing and providing the service and the products for end customer.
