Dave Shelbourne is Elite Business manager at New Balance Athletic shoe, which a wholesale industry.His(Dave Shelbourne) skills are on-- Retail,Footware,sporting goods,Merchandising,apparel,inventory management,Marketing,Brand Development,Wholesale,sports,Retail marketing,sportswear,Trend,sportship,Trade shows.He is Elite channel manager since 2003 in NEW BALANCE ATHLETIC SHOES INC.He has completed his education from South Dakota State University(1969-1974).

According to him ,New Balance is like a family, And in his 33 years working for New Balance, Shoe School is one of his favorite things because it truly embodies the passion that he is  all about.

Dave Shelbourne, the General Manager of Running Specialty Operations at New Balance, is at the wheel.Shoe School started as a way to train new hires by helping them to get a feel for manufacturing best practices. Then about a decade ago, that expanded. Shelbourne said- They held a contest for owners of Fleet Feet stores to attend Shoe School about a decade ago,And from there, they started opening up a few slots per month for special guests.

Dave Shelbourne who  sales manager for the running specialty channel at New Balance,he believes that Boundaries has been “an unbelievable program” for his brand, which supplies product and marketing support to participating stores. He said that "Fleet Feet’s approach has been very sophisticated, and when you combine that with the national approach they can take, it’s been very good. And that customer is a great customer for both Fleet Feet and New Balance,”

For anyone to truly understand the depth of the New Balance soul, he says, one must go to Shoe School. This becomes increasingly obvious as I complete my pair and take my seat at the end of a boardroom table for “graduation.”
