Answer 1) The Five main methods for user research in the mobile application is below:
1) Lab Studies: In this user research method we check whether a user can actually use the application. The user is given a mobile with the application installed and then the user is observed by the number of researchers. The research team observed the different tasks performed by the user on the mobile application.
2) Journal Studies: In this method, we understand why the user actually wants to use our application. In this, we write down observation each time when the user uses the application that is in this method user provide the feedback to the research team.
3) Online Surveys: Surveys are conducted to ask questions to the users online to understand user behaviour. Online surveys are cost-effective and generate a lot of data.
4) Observational Studies: In this method, we require a researcher to observe a user uses the application.
5) Automated Logging: In this method, we use the automated user records that are generated on the mobile device of the user when it uses the application.
