Next, address the reasonable and customary processes and procedures which should be used to discourage or make it difficult for employees, managers, and executives to inadvertently misuse and/or steal the company's intellectual property (at a minimum, you must address data classification and marking, separation of duties, and least privilege). You should also identify and explain five or more best practices which the company should implement as it responds to this growing problem.

The problem of intellectual property theft make threaten economic security, the legitimate business loses a higher amount of revenue, the damaged reputation of IP rights and developers, prices go up, make a negative impact for developers because of misusing that Intellectual Property of developer. To discourage IP theft or misuse and make it difficult for employees by reasonable processes as offer employee training, by using data encryption, control who can access sensitive information, choose a cloud-based solution, securely back up important files, Take legal tests and audits. And Procedure such as prioritize IP, trade secret protections, identify valuable assets, and protect these assets, improve employees' awareness, invest in the best protection systems.

Best Practices such as to prevent these activities by using data encryption because it helps to protect data of IP by stored in a secure location and in an encrypted format. It can be done by multiple authentications, password integrity.

Control who can assess the sensitive information by data controls provides permission by the administration to assess, physical controls must have restrictions on who can use that controls

A cloud-based system helps to make boundaries between personal and work devices, it provides information for administration if any employee assesses these data in their personal systems.

Regular tests and audits help to detect any vulnerabilities that can be hacked.

A trade secret protection guide should be used to prevent IP theft in the workplace.

Employe training where they should learn about the IP of industry and the personal use of that IP without permission is a criminal offense in industry.
