One of the non governmental community centers in my community is swanthanam it is an organisation that works for people who need palliative care. They provide aged home for those who are negligible in society especially palliative patients.moreover they extended there arms to women who are facing poverty and debilty. They initiated school for special students[autistic].Furthermore,they giving palliative care to kidney failure patients[dialysis],cancer patients,leprosy[dressing and medicine].The members from swanthanam visits home in every week and also they are available in every emergency situation.

This organization registerd as an NGO and affiliated with the social welfare council it was not for a profit it only aimed welfare of people who struggles disabilaty .

This organization targeted upliftment of the society ,

Donations are only the source of income for this community center.as per the tax provisions 85 percentage of its income spend to charitable purpose.
