Active versatile Internet users: They are involved in both the search for intelligence, communication and use of entertainment.

Practical work oriented Internet users: They are mainly active users oriented toward information.

Entertainment oriented active Internet users: The main interests are uses related to entertainment and communication, and the quest for Internet solutions that match their interests.

Practical information oriented small–scale Internet users: This is different from the previous category because while the main focus of their activities is information usage, their activities are less regular.

Entertainment and communication oriented small scale Internet users: Likewise, they use the Internet less frequently than their active counterparts. Their use concentrates on leisure-related activities and is passive in information activities.

Small scale Internet users: They use the technology so infrequently that they have no clear types of behaviors that would characterize them, and that online activity has evolved quite poorly.
