I had one of aunts who was having Ovarian cancer. I have seen problems of her very closely. I have also seen changes in her behaviour. Here goes the role-pay script:

1) Me: Hello, hows is life? It must be good to have so many people around you.

Patient: Ya, it is nice to see support of everybody. Now I can really make out who is close and who isn't.

2) Me: What are the thoughts that arose in your mind when you heard the cancer?

Patient: Yes, initially I collapsed, everything cam right in front of me, my kids, my whole life, my family, etc. But later I knew that I had to live with the same. Hence with the help of well wishers I gathered my thoughts. This day I am much positive than earlier.

3) What thoughts do you have before going to chemo therapy?

Chemo therapy is indeed a painful experience, but I know I have to go through it. Hence I try to read a lot of positive things or listen to many positive videos on youtube. But I know some time or the other I am going to be fit again.

4) How do you feel about hair loss? or physical changes. Btw this short hair is suiting you :)

Ans -Thanks, thats what most of the people are telling me. They even told the same when I was bald. Initially I felt odd, but now I am feeling much ok because of the support from the family members.

5) Do you feel stressed out or depressed due to all these?

Ans 5) Initially I used to get depressed, but after reading lot of material or listening to many stories I found that it is only positive attitude which would help you over come it.

6) Have you joined any organisation? such as any NGO for cancer support etc?

Ans 6) I have joined online, I read a lot about Lans Armstrong, I follow them on twitter. I also like Bollywood actress Manish Koirala who was suffering from cancer. I have read a book of Yuvraj Singh - cricketer who had cancer but still played the world cup.

7) Do you prefer to take second opinion or the third one?

Ans 7) No, I think visiting doctors then taking different medicines etc gives lots of stress to me as well to my family members. We have consulted two three doctors, I think that it is sufficient enough.

8)Do you wish to complete the incomplete things in your life?

Ans 8 - Oh yes, but I can not always demand on completing those things. But still my family is trying the best to make all my wishes come true, for eg: since childhood I wanted to learn calligraphy which a teacher comes according to my schedule and teaches me.

9) Do you worry about your future? What will happen after you?

Ans 9) I did worry initially, but now I have made my children prepared about the thought. Hence my family members are no more weak. For the financial security I have also made the will.

10) Who are you main supporters for such wonderful positive attitude?

Ans 10) It is primary my brother-in-law, who gave my family all the courage to face the things. Then there were neighbourhood, community etc which gives your support just by the smile or gaze but it is very necessary for that moment.
