b. A 0.330-kg volleyball is thrown vertically downward with an initial speed of 0.150 m/s in a place where free fall acceleration is constant and is equal to g = 9.81 m/s 2. It takes a volleyball 0.0655 s to reach the ground. (a) What is the magnitude of volleyball’s momentum just before it hits the ground? (b) Do you expect your answer in part (a) to increase or decrease if the volleyball is thrown from a larger distance but with the same initial speed? Explain.
