JAPAN :-

The US government won the support of Japan through change in their policies from 1947 . At the initial stages the US government financial aids to Japan lead to economic reconstruction and industrial growth in order to speed up the economic recovery of the nation. The US government arrested communist sympathizers who were creating massive industrial strikes which led to bringing back of operations in the hands of Japanese government

SOUTH KOREA :-

The Korean war followed by a temporary division of Korea along with setting of South East Asian Treaty Organization led to success for the policy of containment as Communism was prevented in South Korea.

TAIWAN AND PHILIPPINES :-

To prevent the spread of communism the United States increased military and economic aids for these countries . In addition to this a mutual treaty was signed in 1951 between US and Republic of Philippines.
