Post truth refers to a time beyond truth and something farther from truth. This is a term which denotes the circumstances where the objective facts do not affect public opinion much compared to their appeal to emotion and personal beliefs. In the post truth period, some incidents are more important compared to others and a person uses one fact over another as the criterion such that the fact coincides with his opinion and his personal viewpoint. During this era innovation does not imply denying the truth but it refers to subjugation of facts to personal preconceptions and subjective perspective. It is quite observed in politics where apart from facts politicians discuss their assumptions and extend their suggestions in order to indicate something beyond the mere truth defined by facts. Media in this era can discuss opinion based issues and raises questions based on facts which are self explanatory and points to truths beyond the current facts and incidents.
