What are some ways you can obtain feedback from stakeholders after the project has been completed? How would you use this information?
Before going to discuss about the ways to collect feedback we must know why it is important and what is feedback.
Feedback:- In simple words we can say that feedback is a kind of even that occurs when an environment reacts to an action. Example:- When someday we go to any restaurant or use any kind of service the service provider ask us to share his experience of using service whether it can up to the mark as per expectation or not.
Importance:- The feedback is the only way to know about the product or services you are providing to someone for use and through the feedback only you can improve on those negative things which was shared via feedback to make your services or products even more useful and valuable among the others.
Ways to collect Feedback from Stake Holders:-
1- Emails and Chat;- If you have completed some project or created a process for client so you can ask your stakeholders to share the feedback about the project over email or the live chat for this you will have to create a specific email id to share feedback and also will have to provide the online chat options where your stakeholders can reach you easily not only for feedback but also for the issues they may face. You can also use the google form where you can put series of questions to get the feedback from stake holders, this is the most popular way this time
2- Regular calls to stake holders :- You can also call your client or stakeholders to get feedback easily you just need to call them and ask about the performance of the process you have created for them.
3-Run or Schedule Stake holders meeting :- If you have a large no of stake holders so you can ask them for a team meeting where you can discuss about the performance and improvement of your work. You can do meetings either weekly or Monthly which is best suitable according to your clients. But getting everyone in a same room for feedback may be difficult becuse everyone may agree or may be occupied with some other work.
4-Social Media:- You can also use the social media platforms to gather feedback where you can create a page or profile your company or your work and can provide the information on that page to share the feedback . This method is also popular these days. You will have to take care that Social listening requires dedicated resources to monitor and respond to feedback
5-Use of Online Polls:- You can use this method very easily and effective you can provide a link for online poll on your website or you can use various online survey website to create a poll which is also very easy and good way to collect feedback.
Other Ways:- The explained ways are the most popular ways these day but to getting feedback we can use the feedback book also if the work or business is not online or you have created something where you are dealing with people physically. Also you can ask them to share feedback verbally with the person who is working to collect the feedback data.
Use of Information collected through the feedback:-
When you work on a project it is the key of success to use the feedback you have received from stakeholders for betterment of the process or project you have provided because using the feedback you can save the time of correcting someone's work or you can have very good relationships with your stakeholders. If you work according to the feedback you have so you can work on the impurities of the work done by you because you cant expect everything in a positive ways means you can receive the negative feedback also about the project so this negative feedback will help you to go in the right way and will provide you the confidence also. You will have to use the strategy of converting feedback into feed forward which simply means that whatever the problems and issues you came to know through the feedback just work on that act on them effective to make your project even more good.If you will work like that so by the passing of time you will see the exceptional business growth, more sales, and completion of the given project on time.
You can also use the information you have through the feedback for the effective learning because in this world there is nothing which is 100 % correct everything has scope of improvement so you can use this information for the learning as well, even I can say that if you are not receiving any feedback for the project or work you have done, so there is some problem either that project is best without any issue or the stake holder didn't liked the project a bit where they cant expect any further improvement from you.
Thus we can use the feedback information in many ways to purify the impurities of our work or to become a leader.
