Part 2: In your opinion, what is the best way to reduce the number of suicides among college aged individuals?

Ø The obvious and most important reason for suicide is depression. The victim becomes helpless and the existence of life becomes difficult with no hope to get out of it. The patients think about themselves as they are good for nothing and this thought gradually becomes rational to them. The most important thing is ‘Depression, as a disease is curable like another disease, but we need to find it at first.
Ø The reasons for the depression among the college-aged children are peer pressure, constant stttruggle to better in all spheres of life, hormonal changes, emotional responsibilities, financial burden. These all factors get intertwined and may result in depression. The further course of depression is suicide. Many therapies help an individual to get into the right state of mind. But the most important responsibility is of parents or guardian of a child, to look into the personal matters of the child and help to resolve the issues. This will help the child to get motivated and get out of depression.
