Chapter 8 Learning.
Relate the information that you learned this week to your day to day life. (Real life example)
I learned this week "SOCIAL OR OBSERVATIONAL LEARNIG THEORY".
For example, I applied this information in my real life when I learned cooking by watching and modeling like my mother. At that time I was just 11 years old.
What did you find the most interesting in what you learned this week of the course?
The most interesting aspect of this learning theory was that it suggested that learning happens in four steps:
I am here applying stages of the social learning theory to my example:
(A)Attention: From early childhood, I attentively watched my mother cooking food for the family.
(B)Retention: Gradually, I remebered and retained in my mind how my mother cooks Pizza, pasta and other dishes.
(C)Reproduction: When I turned 10, I used to help my mother cook food in kitchen and sometimes I tried also under her guidance. One day when I was 11, I cooked dinner myself for whole family.
(D)Motivation: Everybody praised it and said it was delicious. It motivated me very much.
Anything that you think might stay with you long after this course is over?
I would say that this course based on learning is very important aspect which if understood properly can be applied throughout the life to learn things faster.
What did you find perhaps a little unclear about the content this week of the course? Any questions perhaps your fellow students could answer?
I was little unclear about one thing so I would like to ask that from my fellow students:
"Why some people learn faster than others?"
Kindly do like if It Helped!
Thank you!!!
