How is sustainable development directly related to the way environment is treated, and also explain why is poverty of developing countries often related to the unwise use of the environment?
Answer:
Sustainable development is directly related to environment. Because
Sustainable development is development of economy by using our
resources in such a manner that they should also be preserved for
our future or coming generation.
Sustainable development prevents the environment degradation
because people does not overuse natural resources, they do not harm
our natural resources in extraordinary manner.
Now we discuss how poverty put unwise or negative effect on the
environment in developing countries.
Poverty is represents by the poor people in the country. These poor
people face poverty because of lack of resources in their
hands.
Poverty causes relatively more pressure on the environment because
of lack of education among these people.
Poverty contribute to environmental degradation. Due to lack of
sufficient resources and lack of knowledge poor people tend to
overuse every resource available to them to survive their life. It
is true that poverty and environment issues are linked to each
other.
Because poor people are directly depends on the environment than
the rich and common people.
So
we can say that poverty put more pressure on the environment
because of larger families, unhealthy living condition, dependent
on small peace of land to meed their requirement and over
exploitation of natural resources and deforestation.
