Change is inevitable! Our world is constantly changing, and we MUST change as well. We must embrace change and ride the wave of change in such turbulent times (Lamarre, 2006). Particularly within such volatile times. What is CHANGE? Is change positive, negative, or both? Explain.

Change is both positive as well as negative. Yes, "World is constantly changing", but towards both - positive side as well as negative.

In terms of advancements in science and technology, socio-cultural and economic backgrounds, world is changing towards positivity. Let's take for instance, new discoveries and inventions in the science and advancements in the technology has a positive affect on the world. Similarly, mitigation of the socio-cultural differences between people, regions, countries is driving a positive change in the trade and business all over the world. People are more wecoming and broadminded, trade has become much more easier now, and connectivity and communication has improved to a larger extent.

Well, in terms of negative change in the world, natural resources are being depleted, water crisis is becoming more and more, in the name of advancements, more and more industries are being established. Nuclear power plants are being introduced bringing in huge pollution to the environment. Similarly, rivers and seas are also being polluted, ozone layer has been depleting, harmful gases are being released to the atmosphere, which is in turn giving way to harmful and dangerous diseases and threat to the mankind. Most of the species have become extinct, floura and fauna is being destroyed, all this is paving towards a negative change.

Hence, in my opinion, change is both positive as well as negative. When there is a positive change, or series of positive changes, there is always a chance of negative change as well. Similarly, amidst a series of negative changes, there is always a hope, and there could be a positive change.
