If you are asked to design to allow enough Natural light sky component into your house in Suadi Arabia, then suggest what ways would be most applicable for your house, considering its orientation and site also?

Expert Solution

To allow natural light into house most of them prefer Daylighting. In daylighting practice the windows, openings skylights etc are provided to have efficient internal lightining. While designing a building Daylighting should be given special attention as use of natural light will reduce the consumption of the artificial light.
Natural light is also dependent on the climatic condtions of the region, some times the light reaches directly into house or sometimes its scattered. it also depends on the site location also. Usually in case of northen hemispere the noth facing walls will not have diect sunlight and same with the south facing walls in the southern hemispere.
in this case during the design of building fo natural lghtining into house, opening or windows provided are less and of smaller size in noth facing walls of northen hemisphere and south facing walls of south hemisphere. But larger openings and lager window are provided for south facing walls of northen hemisphere and north facing facing walls of southren hemispere.
different types of lightining provides into house are use of glass to windows, swatooth roof, atrium, transluent walls, light tubes, light reflectons and shelves etc.
jus apart from visuality and light into the building, there are other advantageous factors of proper day light in the building or any industrial areas such as productivity, work satisfaction etc than under electrical lightning.

The purpose of this assignment is to allow you to examine both an in-house software development and a commercially purchased software package. Scenario: CSU has a sporting goods shop that sells sports equipment, as well as hiking and camping supplies. The CSU shop owner, Peter, wants to develop a customer-order entry system and has hired your IT consulting firm to advise him about software alternatives. Peter is leaning toward in-house development because he does not want to depend on a...

A boarding school in your area has asked you to design a simple system so that they could easily identify the students who are staying in the hostel rooms as well as the wardens who are in charge of each student blocks. Each staff may be in charge of guarding a hostel block. This is not permanent because after certain duration the staff will change blocks. The guarding duty is rotational and not all the staff are required to do...

Your supervisor asked you to design a diode that has a total junction capacitance at 0V of 1pF. You are asked to start with an n-type GaAs wafer with a doping of 1x1017 cm-3, then create the p-type layer by doping the substrate with accepters. The substrate manufacturer told you that the GaAs substrate has trap centers equal to 2x1014 cm-3 and capture cross-sections for electrons and holes was of 1.0x10-12 cm2. After designing the diode, you are asked to...

You have been asked by your supervisors at A&L Engineering to design a roller coaster for a new theme park. Because this design is in the initial stages, you have been asked to create a track for the ride. Your coaster should have at least two peaks and two valleys, and launch from an initial height of 75 meters. Each peak and valley should represent a vertical change of at least 20 meters. In your design, you should plan for...

you are a client asked an architect to design a villa for yourself. You as a client didn’t ask for fees. The architect finished design and tried to collect the fees, and you were reasonable thinking that the fees will be around $3000. Since, this was paid for similar villa design of your friend. The architect argued that the fees should be $5000, discuss the possible action by judge if architect sued you and explain why?
