Expert Solution

- The Corporation-The pathological pursuit of profit and power written by Joel Bakan. In this book the Canadian law professor and legal theorist, Bakan contend that how coprorations are madly following the path of pursuit of profit only and they do not bother even in the journey they harm the society, people or anyone else.-The corporation’s unbridled self-interest victimizes individuals, society, and, when it goes awry, even shareholders and can cause corporations to self-destruct, as recent Wall Street scandals reveal. In this space, the moral duty and uprightness of business leaders who are not following this path and the society members play a significant role. They can check the coproration who are doing this activities. We know that at the end of the day everyone is accountable to the society so as society centric person they can raise the issue in proper forum and aware the people about the happening in the coproration. They can also approach the court and make pressure to the appropriate government to take action against these wrong doers.

- Categorical Imperative is a deontological moral theory and teaching given by Kant, which tells that  the rightness or wrongness of actions does not depend on their consequences but on whether they fulfill our duty. Gender inequality in the workforce deviate this moral philospohy of Kant.In the workplace both male and female do similar duty and for equal time but it is our infortunate to say that workplace have not welcomed the feminine gender in that eager and energy it could have. Different study in the global workforce related firm given how there is inequality in the pay between genders, corporations are not welcoming female in their workforce etc. This is a moral misdoing. It doesnot fulfill our duty as a human being.
