a representation of the quantity or number of servings to be eaten each day from each of the basic food groups like so

WHO and FAO also publish their food pyramid time to time. They published this to prevent obesity, improper nutrition, chronic diseases etc. These are also similar to usfda food pyramids but a little bit different in fat and carbohydrates composition.

These pyramid not give suggestions to prevent use of dairy products but using these products in rational way according to dietary practice or serving requirements.they prohibit or restrict orvlimit uses of trans fats , saturated fatty acid in these products.
