The health care system or services which is cleraly a provincial responsibility. It is about the country Canada ; for how to reduce costs & expand health coverage. The comprehensive universal Comparisons of health care systems indicate that Canada is a relatively high spender that achieves only mediocre & poor particularly with regard to medical resources; is prohibiting patients from pursuing in country private treatment which is very limited, very restrictive one. In Canada policymakers trying to reduce costs & expand health coverage. The Federal govt plays significant role over the policies that characterized by health care systems through its funding. Canada is a rare country that prohibits physicians for practicing in both public as well as private sector, private insurance coverage for services outside the govt program. they have no right to buy private health care services that covered by govt program. Canada is the only developed country which prohibits patients from persuing private treatment in their own country

Higher procedure intensity was associated with lower mortality after one year hospitalization, higher intensity care improve patient outcomes, there is no requirement for new drugs or devices to be more effective or less costly than existing approved regimes. By which many treatments while cost-effective in some cases are given to patients who have little gain from them. Another thing is that price of same thing varies in diffrent ways like spending is not correlated with quality sometimes. There is need for efforts to increase value in medical care by reducing unwarranted variation in medical services.
