If you are a startup and need a co-working space, how would you evaluate make your choice between IWG(Regus) and WeWork? explain as much and as clearly as possible
IWG, previously Regus is a global provider of coworking areas and serviced offices and IWG competes in the main co-working sectors with WeWork. WeWork only has 10 percent of IWG sites.
One big difference is that WeWork has a more informal and friendly environment that is group oriented and IWG (Regus) has a more formal and privacy-focused atmosphere. You can see glass walls all over at WeWork locations. WeWork is not the place for you if you are worried about privacy.
Nevertheless, in New York the hot desk price amounts to $560 per month, the dedicated desk and the private office prices are $650 and $1060, respectively, per month. Such expenses are for one person only and will be $2800 a month for a single location if there are more people like a party or team. Regus rates usually fall down to about 10 to 15 percent relative to WeWork. If you need a hot desk or a private office doesn't matter. But you can not search its prices on your websites. The question is You have to visit their locations and call their closest places if you want to know their rate.
When you compare it with Regus, WeWork is far younger in the shared space market. It is only ten, but in a very short period of time, it has made tremendous strides. In approximately 123 cities and 37 countries worldwide, WeWork has received its services and has more than840 locations. WeWork aims to open 200 new traditional areas of work worldwide. As Regus has more experience and is older. In 120 countries, it has 3000 sites.
Now the situation is WeWork is cheaper whereas Regus has more each. If WeWork is available in coworking location then the decision will be in the favour of WeWork because of its lower cost and as a startup holder it is very much important to think of cost at the starting stage. otherwise as Regus has more reach one have to choose Regus only!
