Expert Solution

I agree with this that all organizations have competitors. I have thought and research many companies in several industries like Amazon, Walmart,Zara, Nike, microsoft, Uber,Nike, rebook,Mcdonalds,Burgerkind,Starbucks etc. i could not find one. even if we find one then indirect competitons comes into play.

Competitors play very important role in business environment of a company because they try to outrun each other's business and wanted to gain more market share. There is no company without competitors because Company with no competitors means Creating monopoly which makes them market leader. This is not possible in current era where innovation and technology has made companies to imitate each other's business.

for example- Uber was the first company came up with Innovative business model of ride sharing but after some time, Competitors started to rise like Ola, Lyft, Didi etc.

even though Uber was new but uber also had indirect competition from Public transport, Metros, buses etc.
