In order to maintain the desired level of standard and professionalism, many ethical guidelines have developed. These guidelines are used to prevent procedural difficulties, ethical dilemmas. these guidelines help to reduce irrelevant tests and assessment procedures, cultural bias, privacy invasion, the continuation of tests despite lacking validity and other privacy issues. These type of issue decreases the credibility of psychological assessment due to public scepticism.
Hence, in order to ensure the ethical application of personality testing psychologists can do:

• By checking the validity of tests.
