which rptoleyic enzye would cleave this peptide into the most fragments? Asn-Met-Thr-Gln-Gly-Arg-Cys-Lys-Val-Asn-Thr-Phe-Val-His-Glu-Leu-Val-Asp-Val-Cys-Phe-Lys-Glu A. Trypsin B.Chymotrypsin C.Thermolysint D.they would all given an equal amou
1.proteolytic enzyme is very much useful for digestion. Inside our body madeup of protein chain (peptide), that enzyme will helps to cleave the peptide to aminoacid residue.
2. This enzyme cleaves only specific peptide bond. TRYPSIN cleave C-terminal of Lysine and arginine, but proline which is next to present like lysine-proline or arginine-proline then it won't cleave that peptide bond.
3.CHYMOTRYPSIN acts on C-terminal of phenyl alanine(Phe), tyrosine(Try), tryptophan(Trp).these two enzyme are endopeptidase enzyme which mean that cleave inbetween the amino acid chain.
4.THERMOLYSIN will cleave Isoleucine(Ile), methionine(met), phenylalanine(Phe), tyrosine(Try), tryptophan(Trp), valine(Val) but proline which is next to present those aminoacid the clevage not happened.
5.According to above explanation Thermolysin will give most fragment.
Note: Peptide bond consist of amide bond and either one aminoacid have one amine and one have acid group. N-terminal mean amine site and C-terminal mean acid side.
