What factors does a cosmetics company need to consider when designing its marketing channel for a new low-priced line of cosmetics? Explain each one.

Don't be tempted to include the big-box stores while considering selling your cosmetics. Perhaps your small business isn't ready for the big retailers. None of the major retailers tend to purchase items from the firms that just sell to the big stores. So choose retailers small to medium in size as your first customers. The retailers interested will ask you for samples of the products. This may be costly for small cosmetics companies but if the medium-sized stores agree to sell your product line, it will give your business a boost immediately.
If you can get any wholesale dealer who is interested in your beauty products, your company volume can grow quickly. Many retailers prefer wholesalers to buy their inventories, rather than buying directly from companies or individual manufacturers. If you can sell your products to the distributors successfully, your sales volume will be much greater than one store's sales volume.
Another successful way to get the cosmetics brand marketed is to position it on the internet. Almost all the potential consumers of your products are searching and shopping online. First, have an e-commerce website that has all the relevant information, such as a description of your cosmetic products and their images of quality , prices, social channel buttons, fine navigation features and, most importantly, the address of your company and other contact information.
Social channels like Facebook , Twitter, etc are like new marketplaces where you can aggressively market your beauty products. Such virtual markets are perfect for targeting as many potential customers as possible. All you have to do is regularly post interesting content and visuals to create a dominant presence on all the channels in your business.
