Collection of data:- Data must be collected by suitable surveying technology like triangulation or aerial mapping, for ghana region the most appropriate method of surveying for data collection is aerial surveying method, because it has ability to cover all the required features and data for design of map.

Perform selection:-we have to must select the best procedure in which the we have to choose best scale for map design.

Classification:--Classify various part of the university and survey all the part separately and after that merge all the part with each other with a suitable scale, classification is based on ground area, cafeteria, administrative building, class building and other blocks area.

Simplification and Symbolization:- Make calculations and simplify them also give symbols to the various parts of the university and locate them to the map. Make various symbols for various locations and specify them with different colors for the different symbols.

Map design:- Now after all the process we have to locate all the calculations and symbols on the map, and also make a chart for the abbreviations to the symbol, make a scale to minimize the map and locate the various places of the university on the map by symbol
