A rock is thrown with an initial velocity of 30 m/s at an angle of 60° above the horizontal from a height of 1.5 m toward a cliff. After 4 seconds, the rock lands on the top edge of the cliff.
(a) Calculate the height of the cliff.
(b) Calculate the maximum height reached by the rock along its trajectory
(c) Determine the speed of the rock just before hitting the cliff.
