DOT plannes the movement of American people with vehicles , trucks, trains, ships and planes, from routes to airlines to railways. In terms of ground transportation, government and local authorities are largely the main players of government in the construction of new roads or public transit systems. However, DOT is a major contributor to improving the way Americans transit to lower levels of government.
