What is free will in capitalism?
It is incompatible with free will and State control. Ever striving to extend its control, the statism of each stripe creeps into any open crevice, leaving no space for controversy or open challenge to the prevailing authority. The belief in free will instills in man an efficacy and a belief that he could improve his state through proper thought and action, and that, together with his fellow man, they could conspire to develop a way of life that aligns their interests and defends each other's rights against invasions by the other.
Determinism and capitalism are correspondingly irreconcilable opposites. Capitalism prevents and protects man from their coercions from coercing others into his operation. It leaves him free to follow his ideals and ambitions in an open society where others are forbidden to abuse his rights, but with the assurance that the greater his purpose and skill in any attempt, the more likely he is to succeed.
