Please define and explain the terms Ahura Mazada, Kusti, Mithra, And Dakhma.
There are very few people practice Zoroastrian today, though there is great significance in the past. All these terms mentioned above are the core concept of Zoroasastriasm.
Ahura Mazda - The literal meaning of the word is "God of the wisdom". Ahura Mazda is the superman god of Zoroastrian. He is considered the creator of the universe highest among all other gods. He is also the God of righteousness.
Kusti - This is the sacred thread made up of 72 strands of lamb wool and worn around the waist. Wearing this thread is mandatory using the ritual prayer which is five times a day. even going outside without Kusti it considers a violation of the religious norm.
Mithra - In Zoroastrian, Mithra is an angelic divine and commonly known as Mehr. He is considered the god of light and oath. A symbol of truth and the judicial figure. He is also considered as the guardian od the cattle and the harvest.
Dakhma - This is the round wall around the corpse. Zoroastrian doesn't believe to bury or cremate their body after death. They make an open rounded wall (Dakhma) and around the dead body and let birds, vulture, and animals eat the flesh. This is known as the tower of silence.
