Each and every country of the world has its own system of education. The country in order to grow and develop needs the efficient, educated and skillled manforce. through education we can build the capacities of the population. The countries around the world are makking a handsome expenditure on education. They believe that it will benefit tthem in the long run. The educational system needs to bee sound and developed. We know that Education is primarily a State and local responsibility in the United States. It is States and communities, as well as public and private organizations of all kinds, that establish schools and colleges, develop curricula, and determine requirements for enrollment and graduation.
Developmennt of educational sector needs proper planing and policies drom the government. The policies of the govt. regardding education should be clear and well determined. Once policy is made, it needs to be implemented at the grassroot level. We know that public schools are those schools which are owned by the government and for which the funds and other infrastructure related issues are also solved by government. The local and the state government plays a collaborative role iin the development of public school policies.
In the US, the local and the state government is responsible for the public school policiies formuulation and their implementation. The sucess of education largely depend on the type oof policiies made. The policies about public schools should be clearly menntioned. The local and state governments in each and every country plays an active role in policy formulation for the betterment of general public. The local govts. work according to the directives of the state or central governments. it comes to matters of policy, the public tends to look to the federal government to lead the way, but the local governments actually determine educational policy. Early in our nation's history, lawmakers passed the 10th Amendment to the Constitution which is the basis for making education a function of the states. Each school district is administered and financed by the community along with that district's state government. School districts with higher socioeconomic levels tend to give more resources to their schools. Standards and quality of education consequently vary widely from state to state, town to town, and even district to district. However, federal and state government can still play some role in education policy, as this article explains.
