17.SUBMITTALS

Submittal in construction management are shopdrawings, material data, samples and product data. Submittals are required primarialy for the architect and engineer to verify that the correct products will be installed on the project.

CONSTRUCTABILITY

Constructability is a project management technique to review construction processs from start to finish during preconstruction phase.

The term constructability defines the ease and efficiency with which structure can be built. The more constructible a structure is, the more economical it will be.

LEAD TIME

Lead time is the amount of time whereby a successor activity can be advanced with respect to predecessor activity.

Put, when the first activity is still running when the second activity starts, it is lead. Lead time is overlap between fist and second activity.

SPECIFIER

A specifier advices the entire project team, not just the design team. Specifier coach teams about materials and product selections, application and integration required to make the project work.
