Can you please type a short summary on what is LTE AND 5G? and their differences?
LTE and 5G both are related to mobile networks. In 5G , G stands for generation, so 5G is the collective term for the fifth generation of mobile network technology. LTE stands for Long-Term Evolution, and it's a 4G technology. The newer 5G is not a replacement for 4G, so you'll find LTE and 5G technology working together for the foreseeable future.
"The main advantage that 5G offers over LTE is faster speeds, because there will be more spectrum available for 5G, and is uses more advanced radio technology ".
5G can offers much lower latency than 4G, which will enable new applications in the space. In simple terms, 5G will allow us to download and upload data much faster than older technologies. 5G's low-latency focused standard is referred to as URLLC : ultra-reliable,low-latency connections.
5G can even support some scenarios where an immediate response is not just preferred but mission critical such as medical applications.
5G is not only designed to meet the needs of everyone from customers to enterprise, but also the vastly different requirements of machine-type communication required by IOT applications, and other machine-to-machine connected devices. Whereas IoT in the 4G era is mix of adapted 2G and 4G technologies.
thank you .......
