explain technology and science as iterative and interrelated processes driven by empirical observation and experimentation, and appreciate the limits imposed on our comprehension and knowledge

Solutions

Expert Solution

Science and technology are two processes that go hand in hand. Science is infact the basis if technology. All scientific theorems and findings in a particular field form the basis of development of technology. The findings from these developed technological innovations form concepts which in turn make a part of science. Hence technology develops from science and science develops from technology forming an interrelated and iterative cycle that is never ending. This iterative cycle has enabled us to, for example, discover gravity, find the way it works, develop machines based on gravity and also develop zero gravity environment. Hence, this zero gravity environment forms a basis for science again. However there are limitations as to what we can develop through science and technology. We can't develop a technology that would enable us to defy death. This is the limitation imposed on us by nature which is an integral part of our motivation to develop more and more so that some day we can achieve that too.
