21) An approach to the study and  practice of  international politics is realism.Realism lays emphasis on the role of nation states and assumes that national interest motivates all nation states.Realism is important in international relations because it takes into consideration involvement of other parties in those affairs and not only oneself.

22)Liberal Institutionalism is a theory of international relations which claims  that international organizations like NATO,United Nations and European union can help in increasing co operation between states.Liberal institutionalism assume that international institutions help in  maintaining peace and cooperation between states.
