With the invention and so much improvement in technology, computers have replaced humans I decision making process. Human mind can only store and retain a level of information, but computers have no limit to retain and calculate. Therefore, nowadays computers are heavily used in business operations as well as at the time of making decisions. Some advantages are-

High Storage- Computer can high level of information and can calculate complex equations which is not possible for human brain.

Speed and Accuracy- Good decisions demand high level of accuracy and fast response. Computer is helpful by calculating fast and speedy decisions. Humans can become tired and sleepy but computers and technology is not like that.

Some disadvantages are-

High cost involved- To take correct and effective decisions high technological tools and equipment are required and a right technological professional or equipment is high at cost. Days has passed when obsolete technology are used for decision but now advance technology are used in businesses for most effective decisions.

Hurts Employee morale- When decisions are taken with the help f technology, it sometimes hurts the morale of employees that they are not considered enough capable to take a good decision.

I have taken various decisions with the help of technology but one is my calculation of HR project on employee satisfaction. I have collected data through interviews and calculated the satisfaction level through using tools like SPSS and E-views. Such high technological tools help me in making my decision. I can make the decision without using this tool also, but I find using the tools more effective because it is more accurate and saves my time. Otherwise, I will be lost in heavy calculations. Therefore, technology is helpful at times for making decisions.
