Solutions

Expert Solution

solution 1: Option D is the correct option since one of the major consequence of the special theory of relativity is that as the speed of an object increases the lenght of the object starts to contract along the direction of motion. Also the time starts to dilate and it starts moving slowly for a person moving fast relative to a person at rest or moving slowly. The fact that the speed of light is the same in all frames of referance is one of the two postulates of the relativity. Hence all of them are correct.

solution 2: Option 1 is correct. since general theory of relativity is a theory of gravity and it explains that gravity is not so much as a force as it is a consequence of acceleration and hence paving the way for artificial gravity.

solution 3: Option B is correct since it has the mass closest to sun among the given options. And the mass required for a body to become a black whole must be greater than the chendrashekher mass limit. Which is 1.39 times the mass of sun.
