Expert Solution

The architect not providing updated drawing on time can cause delay in completion of project. So it is essential to sort out this problem.

Impact of delay in project- Delays can add cost to project value. Therefore it is essential to complete project on time as"Time is money" also as a project manager the company's reputation is in your shoulders.

Ways to avoid it:

#Set a timeline for other consultants of the project. Architect work is one of them. Giving them time frame will put a pressure of completion, wether it is completion of drawing or anything. Scheduling is the basic way to do it.

# If the first point didn't work out due to some reason then arranging a group meeting may help. In meeting highlighting the points is necessary. Talk it out and clarify everything.

# Right resources is the most important part of a project and the those who are working on a project are actually the main resources. Gathering right resources well really help, even assigning a new architect will do the job.

Assume that for this project to be completed, five independent tasks must be completed. These tasks are proceeding in parallel by five different subcontractors. To keep it simple, let's assume that each task takes between 1 and 5 months to complete (uniformly distributed, i.e. equally likely to take any amount of time between 1 and 5 months). So, the mean time to complete each task is 3 months and the probability of any given task taking 3 months or longer...
