write a critical reflection on antibiotics resistant
Antibiotics are the antimicrobial substances that are used to prevent and treat infections. Antibiotics inhibit the growth or destroys the microorganisms that causes infections. Depends on the type of organisms, antimicrobial agents are separated as antibacterial agents (act against bacteria) like tetracyclines, antiviral agents (act against virus) like peramivir, antiprotozoal agents (act against protozoan) like chloroquine, etc. Antibiotics resistance means the microorganisms have the ability to withstand the effects of antibiotics that once successfully used to treat that microorganism. It occurs when bacteria change its response to the use of these kind of medicines. It seems like bacteria become antibiotics resistant. Viral infections don't responds to the antibiotic treatments. If these kind of bacteria may infect animals or humans, then these infections are hard to treat than the infections caused by non-resistant bacteria. It leads to higher the medical costs and increases mortality. Antibiotics resistance is a major threat, even if we develop some new medicines.
Antibiotic resistant bacteria are methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), multi-drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MDR-TB), vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE), etc. Infections like pneumonia, tuberculosis, gonorrhoea, etc, are caused by these microbes. These infections are becomes harder and impossible in sometimes to treat with antibiotics, because it become less effective to those microbes. In order to prevent this problem, we use antibiotics only when it is prescribed by any doctor or health professional who is certified. Don't use antibiotics if you are normal. Keep the vaccination up to date. These are the critical reflection on antibiotics resistant.
