Criminal justice system is a sequence of government institutions and agencies whose aim is to recognise & grab the law-breakers & to impose a form of punishment.

Two models of Criminal Justice Systems are :

1- Due Process Model

Warren Court : -the Supreme Court below the leadership of Chief Justice has announced a huge no. of decisions which were in present along the Model of due process. The model focuses the chances of error in the levels leading to trial.

2- Crime Control Model

The Warren Court was adjusted to the model of due process of criminal justice,  Burger Court –the Supreme Court elow the leadership of Chief Justice -presented to support a different model of legal process- crime control model. The model highlight efficiency & based on the vision that most significant function of the process of criminal is repression of conduct of criminal.

Due Process Model is more useful. It is reliable & efficient, reliability forms a matter of independent deal when it turns so diminish as to impair efficiency.
