The chemicals present in pesticides and fertilizers will harm the aquatic life as well as wildlife and our environment too . Use natural products like plant - based insecticides instead of these things . This will preserve our wetlands .

4) in South Africa , the department of environmental affairs , supports the conservation of wetlands and they are working on it . Through their programme , they spread their words to encourage the people to protect their wetlands and have sustainable use of wetlands . They also provide employment in this sector who does maintain the wetland .
