Education & its role in my community

Education is the systematic learning that is delivered to the individuals and recognized by the institutional bodies so that the educated person can pursue a career, get a job and contribute to the development of themselves, their family and the community where they get their upbringing. It can be said that education is beneficial to different entities including the community, to whom the person belongs. Hence, my education holds high level of significance for my community.

Significance of education as human capital development

Education brings new ideas, creates new opportunities and has the ability to carry along the many other individuals along the path of growth and development. One educated person can educated many other individuals. It hold true in my community and my education has caused improve the literacy level in my community. It is the part of human capital development that has created a good pool of intellectual capabilities at the national level and at my community level. People in my community look at me as educated person and they want to be as me. It brings inspiration to them. It further contributes to the development of the human capital at the community level.

Benefits of the education to my community

My education creates employment to me and bring good standard of living to me and my family. While it happens, the firms also look at my community for the search of the similar talent who can work for them as a part of diversity drive. It brings awareness among the people in my community to give focus upon the education. It is evident from more number of kids and youth going to schools and colleges to pursue education and acquire skills. It creates a talent pool that caters the industrial demand. So, education of one person, acts as a catalyst to the whole community and the overall development takes place. It increases the purchasing power of the people in community and income per person improves at the community level. It increases the health status of the people. As a result, the life expectancy increases and mortality rates come down.

Overall significance of education to the community

My education causes my community to see the change, inspire the others and create a rational basis to grow. It makes the community to embrace new ideas and help the community join the main stratum of the economy. It breaks the shackles of the social and cultural constraints and people learn the new ideas. These new ideas when applied, help the community to grow and become stronger than before. It also reduces the gap between male and female, makes women to work as a career and support the families. It reduces the hostility towards women in my community and the society becomes more balanced and tolerant towards each other. So, there is a culture in place that focuses upon the regular evolution of the positive change to grow. It becomes a driving factor for my community to become a focal area of talent producers, from the community that was bound by its own rituals and norms. Such development and change could only take place, because of my education. Therefore, my education acted as a precursor of the growth and my community realized it, worked on it to the maximum and benefitted from it. It is the significance of my education to my community.
