What do cognitive neuroscientists believe about the conscious mind?
According to cognitive neuroscientists consciousness refers to the state of mind of being conscious or aware of surrounding and external things and things within the mind.
Cognitive neuroscience is very important in order to find the physical and biological aspects of consciousness. It may also help to discover new diagnosis methods, treatments for many mental disorders like schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, OCD, phobias, personality disorder etc.
Maintain of cognitive neuroscientist is to find the mechanism how consciousness makes experiences and the biological and physical aspect of consciousness.
It is a true fact that consciousness can not possible without physical aspects like the brain and nervous system. They play important role in consciousness.
Consciousness can easily be distorted by many cases like mentor illness, coma, brain-altering drugs etc.
For us as the human being an altered state of consciousness played an important role in our intellectual and mental development. That is why most of the famous artist and musicians like Picasso, Salvador Dali, Leonardo da Vinci, Mozart, and many others. From the ancient time, human beings were inspired and fascinated with the altered unconscious state. That is why they wanted to attain this state of mind with different methods like meditation, dance, substance use, or escapism into virtual worlds such as art and music.

Many scientists who study on the consciousness of human suggest that prehistoric artist were under the effect of powerful hallucinations while they were making cave arts.they were nailing their visions in the walls of caves.
