You have just received an order from an Internet retailer for some equipment you need for a business presentation. Unfortunately, some of the equipment is damaged. Write a letter to the retailer in which you explain the damage, express your dissatisfaction with the shipment, and describe what you want the retailer to do to fulfill your shipment.

Develop a response that includes examples and evidence to support your ideas, and which clearly communicates the required message to your audience. Organize your response in a clear and logical manner as appropriate for the genre of writing. Use well-structured sentences, audience-appropriate language, and correct conventions of standard American English.

Sub.- Dissatisfaction with the service provided by XYZ Retails in fulfillment of order no. 123456

Dear XYZ Retails Ltd.,

ABC Corporation has been in a long time association with XYZ Retails for fulfillment of its office requirement with an order cycle of atleast twice a month. But recently, we are a bit concerned about the way way in which our orders are being fulfilled.

In our most recent order, Order No - 123456, we had ordered equipment for business presentation worth $PQRS. In addition to this, we had also paid for a premium packaging & delivery service for an amount of $LMNO. But with utmost disappointment, we found that we were provided with either older models of the equipment or critically damaged equipments (we have also attached photographs for your perusal). Please understand that the quality of equipments used in the business presentations plays a very critical role in our industry and hence, using such equipments would seriously impact our business proceedings.

Therefore, to mitigate our displeasure, we would like to request you to send one of your personnel to inspect and decide upon the further course of action. We certainly hope that our loyalty to XYZ Retails justifies good service and hence, replacement of the damaged and old equipments. Moreover, please understand that all our future purchase decisions would greatly depend on the resolution provided by your team to resolve our concerns.

Hoping for a positive response.

Thanks & Regards,

STUV
